About Marvine Gate Services

Our Story

Marvine Gate Services has been installing and repairing residential and commercial gates in Bethlehem since 2011. The business started small, built on word-of-mouth referrals from homeowners who needed reliable gate repair without the runaround. One homeowner told the next, and the work grew from there.

That same approach has carried the company through steady growth. Today the work runs from automatic gate openers and driveway gates to fencing integration, gate access systems and routine maintenance, for homeowners as well as the commercial clients and property managers who need consistent, dependable service at more than one location.

Braden Wyatt, Manager

Braden got into gate work in his early twenties, helping a buddy install a driveway gate, and he has stuck with it ever since. He likes working with his hands and figuring out how mechanical things fit together. After years on swing, sliding and automatic gates of every kind, the problem-solving is still the part of the job he enjoys most.

What he cares about most is doing things right the first time, not cutting corners to get to the next job faster. He will tell you straight if something isn’t worth fixing and should be replaced instead. No upselling, no runaround.

Braden manages the day-to-day operations and keeps things simple: straightforward pricing, showing up when he says he will, and treating every property like it’s his own. If you need a gate repaired, installed or just looked at, he’s the one to call.

Our Service Philosophy

Clear answers, fair work, and showing up when promised.

There is no upselling and there are no vague estimates here: just clear communication about what a gate needs and what it will cost to fix it right. That consistency is what separates us from larger outfits that treat every job the same. You get a technician who knows the gate systems used around Bethlehem and treats your property like it matters.

In practice, that means:

  • We explain what the gate needs, and what can safely wait
  • You get the price before the work, not after
  • We say so when a repair isn’t worth making
  • We show up when we say we will
  • A single garden gate gets the same care as a row of entry gates

Questions to Ask Any Gate Contractor

Whoever you hire, us included, these are fair questions to ask before work starts:

  • Proof of liability insurance, and of workers’ compensation coverage for anyone working on your property
  • A Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor registration number, which state law requires of most contractors doing home improvement work
  • A written estimate or contract that spells out the work, the price and the timing
  • Who pulls any permits, and who calls PA One Call (811) before digging
  • Which UL 325 usage class the operator is listed for, and which safety devices are included
  • What warranty comes with the parts, and what covers the workmanship

Years in Business, Certifications and Guarantees

How long have you been in business?

Since 2011, installing and repairing residential and commercial gates in Bethlehem and the towns around it.

What certifications do you have?

On an automatic gate, the standards that matter most are UL 325 for the operator and ASTM F2200 for the gate itself; the process and standards page lists the safety points we check against them. If your HOA or company needs particular documents from contractors, such as proof of insurance, ask when you call and you will get a direct answer.

Do you guarantee your work?

What we stand behind is how we work: a clear price before the job, no upselling, and showing up when we say we will. New parts carry their manufacturers’ warranties. Ask about coverage for the workmanship before you approve a job, and get the answer in writing with the estimate.
