Accessibility Statement
Updated October 10, 2026
Marvine Gate Services wants everyone to be able to find out about our gate services and contact us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or voice control. This statement covers the website marvinedoorsgates.com.
Our Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and they make a site easier for everyone to use on a phone in bright sun, too.
What We Have Done
- Each page has a clear structure: one main heading, headings in order, and labelled regions for the header, navigation, main content, sidebar and footer.
- A “Skip to main content” link appears first when you press Tab.
- Everything works with a keyboard, including the phone menu (it also closes with Escape), the FAQ answers, the forms and the interactive tools, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and background colors meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, including text on buttons, and urgency ratings in tables always carry a word, never color alone.
- Every photo has a text description, and the service-area map has a written description of where each town is.
- Tables have header cells, and on phones the wider tables turn each row into a labelled block so nothing is cut off.
- Every form field has a visible label; required fields are marked, and if something is missing the form says what, next to the field.
- Results from the tools are announced to screen readers when they change.
- The site has no autoplaying media, no time limits and no moving content, and pages work from narrow phones to wide screens and at 200% zoom.
How We Test
Before the site is published, and again after changes, every page is checked automatically for HTML errors and accessibility rule violations, and with the Lighthouse accessibility audit at phone and desktop sizes. We also check pages by hand with the keyboard alone and look at each page at phone and desktop widths. We have not tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology, so we welcome reports of anything that does not work for you.
Known Limitations
- The interactive tools need JavaScript. Without it, the same information is available in the tables and text on each page, or by phone.
- The service-area map is a simplified drawing; its written description and the town table on the same page give the same information.
Report a Problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, tell us and we will help. Call (610) 831-4073 or email office@marvinedoorsgates.com, and include the page address and what went wrong if you can. We will reply and, where we can, fix the problem or give you the information another way. You can always request service by phone instead of the online form.
