This policy explains what information Marvine Gate Services (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, marvinedoorsgates.com, why we collect it, who handles it for us, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
What We Collect
Information you type into a form
The service request form and the shorter quote form on the home page ask for your name and phone number and, if you choose, your email address, the address of the gate, the service you need, the type of gate, how urgent it is, the type of property, a preferred date, whether you can email photos, and a description of the problem. We receive only what you choose to enter.
Technical information sent with a form
When you send a form, the website also records the page you sent it from, your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the approximate country and city that our hosting provider works out from the IP address, and a request reference number. We use these to keep out spam and abuse and to trace a request that did not arrive. The forms also carry a hidden anti-spam field and a timestamp; neither identifies you.
Photos and email
If you email us photos or questions, we receive them as ordinary email and keep them with your request.
What We Do Not Collect
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, tracking pixels, third-party scripts or social media plugins, and it does not build a profile of your visits. The site itself sets no cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated attacks; it is not used for advertising or tracking. The interactive tools on this site (the ZIP code checker, the opener sizing guide, the cost-factor explainer and the troubleshooter) run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us.
How We Use It
- To call or email you back about your request, ask questions and schedule a visit.
- To prepare estimates, do the work you ask for and keep a record of it.
- To keep the website and its forms secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not add you to mailing lists, and we do not use your information for advertising.
Who Processes It for Us
- Website hosting: Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and runs the form handler on its network, so form submissions pass through its systems.
- Lead management: form submissions are delivered to the customer-request system we use to receive, track and answer service requests. If a submission cannot be delivered right away, it is held in a secure queue and retried for up to 60 days, then deleted.
- Email: if you email us, or we email you, our email provider processes those messages.
These providers handle the information on our behalf to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person or property.
How Long We Keep It
We keep request and job information for as long as we need it to respond, schedule and complete the work, keep a service history for your gate and meet our legal and tax obligations. Technical information sent with a form is kept only as long as it is useful for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as described below.
Your Choices and Requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (610) 831-4073 or email office@marvinedoorsgates.com. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not give it to data brokers. You do not need to do anything to opt out. If you have questions about this, contact us by phone or email and we will answer them.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to request information is limited to the people who need it to answer your request and do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or passwords through the forms.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging gate service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
